Power: Telepathy. He can hear/sense the thoughts/emotions of people and animals. The closer they are, the clearer he can hear/sense them, if they're too far, he cant sense them at all. He can also choose to block out others, or focus on a single person.
An example of this is Edward Cullen of Twilight. However, he can also use his power to telepathically communicate, he hears a person's thought, and replies with his own thoughts. This doesn't work from a long distance. He uses his powers to help him with his business.
Background: Sungmin’s powers first appeared when he hit puberty and he started hearing… things. The things he heard and felt grew stronger and clearer, and he thought he was going insane. Finally, when he was 15, he realized that he wasn’t insane, he had special abilities.
He started to train to control these abilities, and found he could communicate telepathically, as well. When he was 19, Sungmin inherited an extremely large sum of money from a deceased relative and used that to move to Seoul and open up a large toy store called Haengbok.
The main store is innocent and has candy, stuffed animals, board games, etc. He has a black-market sex shop in the back. His apartment is right above his shop. He uses his powers to help him keep his sex shop a secret from the public, since not everything he has is... legal. He lives for his shop, and has a vast knowledge of sex toys.
Personality:Sungmin has a mysterious side that developed due to his powers. His powers caused him to hear things that caused him to mature far too fast. His shop shows his two sides, his normal, loving, happy side is reflected in the main shop for children, and his darker, less innocent side is reflected in his sex shop.
It is very hard to anger him, but if he does get angry, watch out. Generally, though Sungmin loves life and is friendly and is very easy to get along with.
Oh, and he's looking for an employee he can trust to help him run the shop without ratting him out for illegal sex toys.
